Tukabatchee Council is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America and serves the Alabama counties of 123. See also Scouting in Alabama. Formed in 1919 as the Montgomery Council, the council would change its name to Montgomery County in 1923, and then to Tukabatchee Area in 1946.

Districts[]

Each District coordinates scout leader training. activities and other resources for community based scouting programs. This council is divided into 4 Districts:

  1. Crane District
  2. Ecunchatee District
  3. Frontier District
  4. Muskogee District


Council Camps[]

Tukabatchee Council Camps feature many resources for organizing exciting outdoor adventure group activities and are available for rental by scout groups, families and other youth groups. Some camps feature an organized week long campership program during summer months.

  1. Warner Scout Reservation - has two camps - Camp Tukabatchee and Camp Dexter C. Hobbs
