Crater Lake Council is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America and serves Scouts in Southern Oregon and Northern California. See also Scouting in Oregon.

Districts Edit

Each District coordinates scout leader training. activities and other resources for community based scouting programs. This council is divided into 20 Districts:

  1. Big Pines District serves Jackson County, Oregon
  2. Fremont District serves Crook, Jefferson and Deschutes counties in Oregon
  3. Klamath District serves Klamath County, Oregon, Lake County, Oregon and Modoc County, California
  4. Roaring Rogue District serves Josephine County, Oregon
  5. Siskiyou District serves Siskiyou County, California
  6. Pacific Rivers District serves Humboldt County, California
  7. Redwood Gate District serves Del Norte County, California

Council Camps Edit

Crater Lake Council Camps feature many resources for organizing exciting outdoor adventure group activities and are available for rental by scout groups, families and other youth groups. Some camps feature an organized week long campership program during summer months.

  1. Camp Makualla is located on the shores of Crescent Lake in the heart of the Cascades and the Deschutes National Forest.
  2. Camp McLoughlin is located on the northwestern shoreline of Lake of the Woods of the Fremont-Winema National Forests.

Order of the Arrow is the National Honor Society of Scouting and recognized those who uphold the scouting ideals of camping, service and citizenship.
