Chief Seattle Council is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America serves the main parts of Puget Sound and Seattle areas including the Olympic Peninsula. See also Scouting in Washington.

Districts Edit

Each District coordinates scout leader training. activities and other resources for community based scouting programs. This council is divided into 3 Districts:

  1. Alpine CSC District: Its territory includes Issaquah, North Bend, Sammamish, Renton Highlands, and East Bellevue.
  2. Aquila District: Its territory includes West Seattle, Burien, Normandy Park, SeaTac, Des Moines, Tukwila, and Vashon Island.
  3. Aurora District: Its territory includes north Seattle, Lake Forest Park, Washington and Shoreline, Washington
  4. Cascade District: Its territory includes Bellevue, Mercer Island, and North Renton

Foothills District: Its territory includes Maple Valley, Auburn, and Black Diamond

  1. Green River CSC District: Its territory covers primarily the areas of Kent, Washington and Renton, Washington.
  2. Mount Olympus District: Its territory includes Port Angeles, Washington, Sequim, Washington, Port Townsend, Washington and others in Clallam and Jefferson Counties
  3. North Lakes District: Its territory includes Bothell, Washington, Kenmore, Washington, and Woodinville, Washington
  4. Orca District: Its territory includes Bainbridge Island, Central Kitsap, and North Kitsap.

Sammamish Trails District: Its territory includes Redmond, Washington and Kirkland, Washington

  1. Sinclair District: Its territory includes Belfair, Bremerton, Port Orchard and surrounding communities
  2. Thunderbird CSC District: Its territory includes Beacon Hill, Capitol Hill, Central Seattle, South Seattle, Rainier Valley.

Council Camps Edit

Chief Seattle Council Camps feature many resources for organizing exciting outdoor adventure group activities and are available for rental by scout groups, families and other youth groups. Some camps feature an organized week long campership program during summer months.
